•Architect & Deliver: Lead the design and development of the next iteration of our global platform, streamlining complex cross-border payments and international fund collections.
•Domain Ownership: Take full accountability for the services you build under the "You build it, you own it" philosophy—from design to deployment and production health.
•Technical Leadership: Lead product initiatives end-to-end, collaborating with Product and Operations to translate financial requirements into elegant technical solutions.
•Mentor & Coach: Guide and mentor engineers, promoting high engineering standards, thorough code reviews, and continuous learning.
•Collaborate Globally: Partner with engineering leaders and distributed teams across regions to design robust, modular services and components.

•Core Software Engineering Expertise: proven track record designing, building, and maintaining complex, highly available software systems at scale with emphasis on clean code and testability.

•Tech-Agnostic Mindset: proficiency in at least one major backend language and experience with distributed architectures, asynchronous messaging, and relational databases.
•Production & Observability Focus: experience building standard APIs, integrating external systems, and setting up robust monitoring/alerting.
•Communication & Collaboration: ability to clearly communicate technical ideas in English to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
