Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the long-term Analytics Engineering architecture and evolve the analytics platform to keep models trusted, scalable, and AI-ready.
  • •Design, build, and maintain governed dbt models serving as authoritative sources for critical metrics across multiple teams.
  • •Define and improve engineering standards for data modeling, testing, documentation, version control, CI/CD, and code review; reduce technical debt.
  • •Create and maintain semantic and context layers that ensure consistent metrics and enable reliable self-service analytics for people and AI tools.
  • •Partner with analysts and scientists to translate business logic into scalable warehouse models, and strengthen data quality and BigQuery performance/cost efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related technical field, including at least 3 years of hands-on dbt production experience.
  • •Expert-level SQL skills and experience designing and owning scalable Kimball dimensional models.
  • •Deep expertise in modern Analytics Engineering practices, including Git, testing, CI/CD, documentation, data contracts, lineage, and governance.
  • •Experience building semantic and context layers and trusted metrics/warehouse architectures that support self-service analytics for humans and AI agents.
  • •Strong understanding of cloud data warehouse architecture, performance optimization, and cost efficiency, with experience in BigQuery, Databricks, or Snowflake.
