Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of Motorola ASTRO systems.
  • •Troubleshoot IP networks and wired communications systems including LAN/WAN infrastructure and related components.
  • •Administer and troubleshoot in an IT-type environment, including maintenance of server hardware/OS and software infrastructure.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and be capable of obtaining an acceptable DoD secret (T-3) clearance within 18 months.
  • •At least 2 years of experience in IT, networking, technician, field service, system technician/specialist, radio frequency, or land mobile radio.
  • •Some basic knowledge of Motorola ASTRO technicalities including networking, Cyber Security principles, Active Directory Administration, and LMR Communications.
  • •Demonstrated proficiency troubleshooting IP networks and ability to administer and troubleshoot in an IT-type environment.
  • •Must be willing to obtain CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification within the first 12 months of employment.
