Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently perform shipping and receiving duties including loading/unloading trailers, shipping containers, and railcars; initiate loadout orders and complete documentation.
  • •Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including housekeeping/sanitation and compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • •Work in outdoor conditions year-round and wear required flame-resistant and HI-VIZ clothing.
  • •Monitor and troubleshoot grain handling equipment (conveyors, elevators, gates, loaders) and operate loading/unloading equipment (end loader, switching locomotive, forklift, skid loader).
  • •Complete shipping/receiving/inspection documents to comply with EPA, USDA, FRA, and DOT HAZMAT regulations; conduct truck/railcar inspections and support basic preventative maintenance.
