Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in the Engineer-In-Training progression rotation (Ore Control, Drill/Blast, Dispatch, Dewatering, Short-Range Planning and Long-Range Planning).
  • •Interact with other departments on site to achieve Mine Engineering and site objectives.
  • •Track and report on mine operations KPI’s and evaluate mine production performance data to implement improvements.
  • •Help evaluate the feasibility of new equipment, technologies and processes to be considered for implementation at the mine site.
  • •Complete AFE’s as required to support the operations and ensure compliance with the Mines Act and applicable permits, regulations and site policies.
