Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee management and maintenance of building, plant, and equipment to uphold assets in their original state.
  • •Manage and support technical projects within the hospital.
  • •Manage and mitigate technical operations risk within the hospital.
  • •Oversee and manage on-site contractors/suppliers in the hospital.
  • •Ensure quality management and continuous improvement within technical operations, including leading the technical team and managing department budget/finances.

Key Requirements

  • •NQF level 6 Engineering qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (heavy current), with Thermodynamics and Electro Technology passed at 2nd-year level.
  • •Minimum 4 years’ post-graduate engineering experience with HVAC and auxiliary electrical power supplies exposure.
  • •Experience within a facility management environment.
  • •Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
  • •Technical plant operations and building maintenance with knowledge of preventative maintenance, fault finding, and troubleshooting.
