Key Responsibilities

  • •Own developer-infrastructure roadmap items end to end, delivering reliable deployment and promotion workflows engineers trust.
  • •Improve deployment processes with gated/serialized deploys, automated schema migrations with rollback, and safe staging-to-production promotion.
  • •Build and maintain dependable local/remote environments, including sandboxes and preview/review environments for fast verification.
  • •Advance infrastructure-as-code standards and drift remediation, consolidating infrastructure toward AWS and making IaC easy to follow by default.
  • •Develop platform foundations for observability, security/access, and internal developer tooling to enable engineers and internal tools to ship safely.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of software engineering experience with significant time on infrastructure, platform, or developer-productivity work.
  • •Strong confidence with AWS, CI/CD, IaC (Terraform/OpenTofu or similar), and Linux/container fundamentals.
  • •General-purpose programming skills, primarily TypeScript and Python where it fits.
  • •Deep, practical technical focus on infrastructure, networking, and developer experience with sane defaults.
  • •Ability to understand user friction by partnering with engineers and iterating based on onboarding and real workflows.
