Key Responsibilities

  • ā€¢Design, build, and operate integrations across Oracle Fusion, Zip, and connected systems using APIs, events, messaging, and batch interfaces.
  • ā€¢Build first-party procurement applications and backend services that streamline intake, approvals, transaction visibility, and exception resolution.
  • ā€¢Define data contracts, mappings, durable identifiers, lifecycle states, and authoritative data ownership across systems.
  • ā€¢Engineer reliable processing with validation, idempotency, retries, monitoring/alerting, reconciliation, and recovery from the system of record.
  • ā€¢Own production health and incident resolution to protect financial controls, reduce failed transactions and manual intervention, and improve procurement cycle time.

Key Requirements

  • ā€¢6+ years of experience in enterprise integrations, software engineering, or business systems engineering with hands-on ownership in production.
  • ā€¢Ability to write, review, test, and debug production code in Python or TypeScript, and use SQL to investigate and reconcile data quality.
  • ā€¢Hands-on experience integrating with Oracle Fusion, including understanding how procurement and payables transactions move through its APIs and interfaces.
  • ā€¢Experience designing and shipping APIs, services, or internal applications and explaining implementation choices, failure modes, and production results.
  • ā€¢Experience with integration platforms such as OIC or Workato, plus strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication/authorization, and event-driven messaging patterns.
