Key Responsibilities

•Lead short- to medium-term customer engagements, guiding architecture and use case reviews, sizing, performance tuning, and deployment topology planning.
•Work hand-in-hand with customers to solve deep technical problems from initial design through production operations, managing troubleshooting and escalations.
•Help customers implement AI solutions and data platforming best practices using Couchbase features (indexing, SQL++, Full-Text Search, Vector Search, Columnar technologies).
•Assist with the full lifecycle of Couchbase implementations, including installation, deployment topology planning, and establishing operational best practices.
•Act as a trusted advisor by communicating complex architectural concepts and authoring technical collateral such as reference architectures and best-practice guides.

Key Requirements

•5+ years’ experience in enterprise back-end software consulting with strong database focus (SQL, NoSQL, or distributed databases).
•2+ years’ experience working with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
•Strong foundation in application design and development, including traditional RDBMS schema modeling and configuration.
•Experience engaging with developers using AI-assisted development/evaluation techniques (e.g., Gemini, Claude).
•BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent; fluency in English required.
