Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee construction costing, safety procedures, and business plan alignment to ensure safe, profitable, and efficient project execution.
  • •Review work plans with area forepersons, maintain operational scheduling, and coordinate plant production for area jobs.
  • •Review and update financial reporting, including weekly job costs and monthly CTC, and approve job-related invoices.
  • •Manage customer relations and maintain public relations through community involvement and other initiatives; ensure clear understanding of specifications and expectations.
  • •Ensure compliance with DBE/EDGE goals and company safety, environmental, and ethics policies, and investigate/mitigate quality and customer problems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 4–6 years of related experience in paving production and laydown.
  • •Knowledge of paver set up and ODOT specifications (448, 449, 446, 447), including density and drainage specifications.
  • •Experience with concrete form-pour and mix specification and testing requirements and/or training.
  • •Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and able to read/interpret safety and operating manuals.
  • •Must obtain a CESSWI License for construction erosion and sediment inspection and be willing to travel/work away from home and work nights/weekends when required.
