Design, develop, install, and upgrade machine controls to support manufacturing equipment. Serve as a technical automation resource for continuous improvement and capital projects, providing PLC and drive support, troubleshooting installed systems, and documenting electrical modifications with updated schematics and work instructions. Partner with engineers to meet electrical requirements from mechanical drawings, stay current on equipment/process changes, support training, and uphold safety policies and incident corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, install, and upgrade machine controls for assigned manufacturing machinery and equipment.
•Provide PLC and drive support for plant equipment and troubleshoot issues with existing installed systems.
•Support continuous improvement and capital projects, working with the Electrical Controls Engineer as an automation technical resource.
•Complete electrical documentation updates, including schematics, drawings, and work instructions, reflecting modifications.
•Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, including incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

•Experience programming PLC-based controls for manufacturing/industrial automation.
