Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely while meeting production and quality goals.
  • •Oversee day-to-day team activities; identify strengths and weaknesses and determine improvement steps.
  • •Engage assigned team members with coaching, development, performance management, and clear communication of expectations and performance measures.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory; partner with the General Manager to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair cost and overall vehicle quality.
  • •Train production associates using Quality Control standards to ensure correct repairs the first time, minimizing re-checks and delays in production.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • •Experience using computers
  • •Must be at least 18 years of age
  • •Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process and understanding of reconditioning processes and lean principles
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs and no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years)
