Join Machinify as a Staff Platform Engineer on the Platform Team to shape the foundation that all engineers build upon. You’ll redesign data layers, build a Rust-based framework for correct, high-performance services, improve observability and resilience, and drive AI tooling adoption across the company, working across JVM, Rust, Python, SQL, and Spark in a high-autonomy environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Dig into inherited Scala systems to identify root problems, plan scaling, and implement improvements.
•Redesign the data layer used by ML/AI products to enable better performance and scalability.
•Build out a Rust framework to allow teams to ship correct, performant services without reinventing fundamentals.
•Improve observability and resilience across the platform to detect and fix issues before customers are affected.
•Shape developer tooling and engineering standards so the team’s work multiplies overall effectiveness.

Key Requirements
