Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide specialized technical support for conveyor belt systems and associated components.
  • •Evaluate conveyor belt performance and identify optimization opportunities for belts, rollers, idlers, and auxiliary systems.
  • •Lead technical inspections and condition diagnostics to prevent failures and maximize equipment availability.
  • •Analyze wear, alignment, tracking, and belt operating performance to drive reliability improvements.
  • •Participate in RCFA investigations for critical incidents and support improvement/replacement projects through implementation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or related field.
  • •At least 5 years of experience in mining, mineral processing, or bulk-material handling.
  • •Proven experience with conveyor belt systems and associated components, including maintenance, inspection, and performance evaluation.
  • •Knowledge of rollers, idlers, loading stations, and belt cleaning systems, including belt alignment (belt tracking), splices, and wear analysis.
  • •Ability to interpret technical drawings/specifications and use Microsoft Office Suite; RCFA and continuous improvement methodologies are required.
