Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead quality strategy for cloud-based data-center management by defining risk-based test approaches, release criteria, automation priorities, and measurable quality outcomes.
  • •Partner with developers and product leaders to influence architecture and feature design for improved testability and faster diagnosis of complex defects.
  • •Design and evolve scalable Python-based automation frameworks, CI/CD quality gates, and infrastructure-validation solutions using Git, Selenium WebDriver, and cloud-native tooling.
  • •Apply generative AI and AI-assisted engineering tools responsibly to accelerate test-case development, automation coding, log analysis, defect triage, and technical investigations while validating outputs and protecting sensitive information.
  • •Provide technical leadership across Cisco UCS environments and mentor engineers while clearly communicating release risks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field plus 10+ years in software quality assurance or quality engineering.
  • •Lead quality strategy, test planning, risk assessment, and release validation for SaaS enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, or microservices platforms.
  • •Advanced proficiency in Python, object-oriented design, test-automation architecture, Git, and CI/CD integration, including browser or API automation with Selenium WebDriver or equivalent tools.
  • •Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting data-center infrastructure (rack/blade servers, chassis, adapters, Ethernet switching, Fibre Channel, storage, networking, virtualization).
  • •Practical exposure to generative AI or AI-assisted engineering tools for test design, code generation/refactoring, log analysis, defect triage, or troubleshooting, with validated accuracy/security/maintainability.
