Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement ingestion, enrichment, and semantic layers for a centralized security data lakehouse to meet real-time cyber defense requirements.
  • •Redesign data onboarding and pipeline architecture to scale ingestion from legacy systems (Splunk) to 300+ complex, high-velocity security feeds.
  • •Architect and deploy data observability, quality, and reliability frameworks to ensure downstream teams trust telemetry fidelity.
  • •Serve as the technical anchor for the Data Logistics team, mentoring engineers and instilling modern coding and automation practices.
  • •Structure and model complex security data to enable advanced analytics, data science initiatives, and AI-driven security platforms.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 104,000 - 156,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Deep enterprise data engineering experience with strong understanding of cybersecurity operations and security telemetry (e.g., EDR, network logs, threat intel).
  • •Expert hands-on experience designing and building cloud-native data lakehouses (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake) and supporting real-time streaming plus historical analytics.
  • •Strong programming skills for data engineering using Python, SQL, Scala, or Go, with distributed processing and orchestration experience.
  • •Experience scaling ingestion and pipelines to thousands of high-velocity security telemetry sources.
  • •Hands-on expertise building data observability, automated quality checks, and reliability frameworks with CI/CD and version control.
