Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide national expertise to expand the business unit’s foster care-related approach as a thought leader.
  • •Participate in national evidence-based practice activities including committees, trainings, and speaking engagements.
  • •Provide TF-CBT and other evidence-based trainings to foster care clinicians nationally.
  • •Lead workgroups to establish a Mental Health Assessment Toolkit for the foster care population, including PTSD and sexual abuse/trauma.
  • •Develop relationships with stakeholders in new and existing markets and establish consultation opportunities for foster care clinicians.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in a related field.
  • •10+ years providing direct clinical interventions to youth in foster care.
  • •Experience with Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and TF-CBT Learning Collaborative.
  • •Licensure as an LPC or LCSW required.
  • •Must be current or former member of the National Child Trauma Stress Network (NCTSN) and certified by TF-CBT developers to train TF-CBT.
