Job Summary

Own Vietnamese tax compliance for TikTok’s growing business, covering both direct (corporate income tax) and indirect taxes. Prepare, verify, and file returns and payments, perform variance analysis, and support responses to local tax authority queries. Partner with business teams to identify and mitigate tax risks, review invoices and contracts, and deliver regulatory/tax updates and training. Improve tax processes and workflows through internal projects using Excel and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Handle tax compliance including preparing, verifying, submitting payments, filing returns, and performing variance analysis to ensure timely and accurate filings.
•Assist business teams and other departments in assessing daily operations for tax risk mitigation.
•Assist in responding to tax queries from local tax authorities by preparing relevant documents and data.
•Review invoices, contracts, and other documents to ensure tax compliance and mitigate tax risks.
•Support internal projects to improve tax processes and workflows, and provide tax/regulatory updates and training as needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
•Minimum 4 years of relevant tax experience in an MNC or shared services environment.
•Strong knowledge of Vietnamese tax regulations, including direct and indirect tax compliance.
•Experience with tax compliance, tax audits, and tax advisory matters.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems, with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
