Job Summary

Own and build shared Go libraries and platform capabilities used across the engineering organization. Design widely adopted APIs, multi-cloud abstractions, and reusable resilience primitives (retries, circuit breakers, load shedding). Help maintain security posture of shared dependencies, contribute to architectural governance via RFCs, partner with Data Services/Infrastructure/SRE/Observability, and participate in on-call and production triage to continuously improve reliability.

•Build and own shared Go libraries for data access, messaging, service communication, observability, and resilience.
•Design adopted APIs with clean abstractions, thoughtful defaults, backward compatibility, and strong documentation.
•Create multi-cloud abstractions enabling services to run across cloud providers and on-prem environments without vendor-specific code.
•Design and implement resilience patterns such as retries, circuit breakers, load shedding, and graceful degradation as reusable primitives.
•Own platform capabilities and security posture of shared dependencies, including vulnerability remediation and secure defaults, plus participate in on-call and production triage.

•Distributed systems depth with hands-on experience in message brokers, data stores, service communication frameworks, and distributed failure modes.
•Strong library and API design sensibility, including backward compatibility, versioning, and migration paths.
•Cloud infrastructure experience with at least one major cloud provider, ideally including multi-region or multi-cloud patterns.
•5+ years of software engineering experience with meaningful time in platform, infrastructure, or developer tools.
