Key Responsibilities

•Direct and supervise technical assignments and manage entire projects or specific elements of projects.
•Author proposals and serve as lead ecological risk assessor for projects.
•Coordinate multimedia risk assessment work (air, water, and soil) and environmental regulatory compliance across industrial/commercial and government sectors.
•Provide technical review to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, company standards, contract requirements, and specifications.
•Occasionally travel for projects, conferences, business development, or training.

Key Requirements

•B.S. in Toxicology, Biology, or equivalent.
•10+ years of experience conducting, authoring, directing, and performing technical review of multi-media ecological risk assessments with increasing complexity and responsibility.
•Hands-on knowledge of ecological risk assessment principles, procedures, and guidance, particularly USEPA CERCLA.
•Experience interacting successfully with private sector and governmental clients across ecological risk assessment projects.
•Experience scoping, managing, and conducting ecological risk assessment components for CERCLA stages, including development of work plans and QAPPs, and evaluating sampling strategies and data appropriateness for risk assessment.
