Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely operate a ready-mix concrete mixer truck to deliver and unload concrete at customer job sites as dispatched.
  • •Communicate with the dispatcher/plant supervisor as needed, and check delivery tickets for special instructions.
  • •Complete delivery documentation, including collecting money from customers and recording transactions on receipts.
  • •Maintain truck cleanliness, including rinsing the drum before and after deliveries, and ensure safe materials loading and unloading.
  • •Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance/repair issues; assist with other truck or plant duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a valid minimum Class B CDL (or complete training and pass the CDL exam to obtain licensure).
  • •Obtain and maintain a valid DOT medical card and a state-issued commercial driver license.
  • •Comply with OSHA and USDOT/FMCSA safe-operating practices, including using required PPE.
  • •Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, and complete required ticket documentation.
