Job Summary

Assist designated machine operators and production teams in day-to-day plant operations, including maintenance, clean-up, yard and warehouse support, material handling, and production support. Follow safety procedures and use required security gear, report unsafe conditions, and support shift preparation. Perform tasks such as operating trained equipment (e.g., forklifts and conveyors), maintaining inventory, handling shipping/receiving documentation, and keeping areas organized and debris-free.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist designated machine operators/production teams with maintenance, clean-up, yard work, warehouse support, utilities, material handling, and other assigned production tasks.
•Handle assignments in repetitive/sequential order and keep work areas clean and organized.
•Use security gear at all times, follow all safety regulations, and report unsafe conditions or defective equipment to the supervisor.
•Operate machinery/equipment as trained, including conveyors/ramps/elevators and equipment such as hoppers, bagging/sealer machines, forklifts, palletizers, and powered vehicles.
•Support shipping/receiving and inventory tasks: loading/unloading trucks, completing documents, packaging/labeling products, handling stockpiles, verifying loads, and maintaining/counting inventory.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent, or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience.
•Read and comprehend simple instructions; apply common sense to follow written or oral procedures.
•Follow company production and safety procedures, including lockout/tagout procedures.
•Pass required internal certification/training and be able to follow safety guidelines while operating equipment.
•Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs from ground level and be able to stand for extended periods.
