Key Responsibilities

  • •Model, test, and tune assigned systems/sub-systems within agreed project budget and schedule.
  • •Prepare, review, and submit project documentation such as Data Collection List and Functional Design Specification to the Project Lead.
  • •Review marked-up P&IDs and support pre-factory and factory acceptance testing (in India or overseas) to meet customer scope.
  • •Follow department quality procedures and complete quality-related checklists for assigned systems/sub-systems.
  • •Lead system integration for testing and work closely with the global modeling team as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or Power Plant Engineering with 1–3 years of experience in Coal/Combined Cycle Power Plant operation/modeling.
  • •Strong computer skills.
  • •Minimum English language skills (speaking and writing).
  • •Creativity to apply thermodynamics knowledge to design systems.
  • •Able to work in a team and travel/work abroad 30–40% of the time.
