Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws, safely and on schedule.
  • •Transport loads safely on required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas, following loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading using specialized equipment as needed, including handling empty skids and returning equipment to the designated area.
  • •Maintain delivery paperwork (invoices, shipping bills of lading) and deliver documentation after routes; perform routine service and report maintenance malfunctions.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license depending on state for the vehicle weight you operate.
  • •Pass background and drug testing per federal and/or state DOT regulations, and pass a DOT physical for trucks over 10k lbs.
  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles.
  • •Ability to remain focused in a busy environment and safely operate according to transportation laws and safety regulations.
  • •Physical ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds and to sit for prolonged periods in a trailer cab.
