Job Summary

Lead plant engineering and maintenance leadership to drive reliability, reduce downtime, and lower operating costs. Oversee capital projects from concept through completion with a safety, food safety, and environmental-first approach. Implement preventive and predictive maintenance and TPM, manage maintenance staff and compliance, and solve daily operational issues. Develop and track KPIs for equipment reliability and effectiveness while coaching and developing engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead capital projects from concept to completion on time and on budget while meeting safety, food safety, and environmental standards.
•Develop and execute advanced maintenance strategies, including preventive/predictive maintenance and TPM, to improve uptime and production reliability.
•Lead and inspire the maintenance team through task delegation, policy enforcement, and safety-first planning aligned with standards and regulatory requirements.
•Troubleshoot daily operational challenges and drive long-term fixes to minimize recurring issues.
•Develop and track maintenance KPIs (e.g., equipment reliability and overall equipment effectiveness) and manage people performance through coaching and collaboration with HR.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field and 10+ years of engineering management experience (or equivalent combination).
•5+ years’ experience in a leadership role including team development and management.
•Advanced technical skills in mechanical/electrical areas (e.g., PLCs and instrumentation) and ability to lead resource planning in a large manufacturing environment.
•Thorough knowledge of maintenance systems, work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance, and TPM.
•Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP, along with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
