Job Summary

Join the ETO Factory team in Guadalajara to support a high-visibility on-prem to cloud compute migration. You’ll assess and discover workloads, plan and provision AWS capacity, execute migration with UAT/production parallel testing, and validate performance and reliability. Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and platform teams to finalize cutover/rollback plans, automate repeatable migrations, and decommission legacy hosts after successful validation.

Key Responsibilities

•Assess on-prem hosts and perform workload discovery (business processes, CPU, memory, storage, dependencies, runtime patterns) to determine migration readiness.
•Analyze workloads to choose appropriate cloud compute placement based on functionality, criticality, resiliency, and interruption tolerance.
•Plan and provision cloud infrastructure capacity for migration, testing, and production execution.
•Execute UAT and production parallel testing, compare outcomes, capture evidence, troubleshoot discrepancies, and close findings.
•Perform performance tuning and optimization, manage release readiness/deployments, and support legacy host decommissioning after successful migration and validation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
•3–5 years of hands-on engineering experience in a collaborative, team-based environment.
•Professional proficiency in Python, Java, or a similar programming/scripting language.
•Strong Unix/Linux fundamentals with ability to troubleshoot application, deployment, environment, and runtime issues.
•Familiarity with SDLC practices, CI/CD delivery models, change management, and Kubernetes-based deployments.
