Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the SAP reporting subject matter expert, owning the decision framework for Fiori/embedded analytics, ABAP/CDS-based reports, SAC-on-Datasphere, and Snowflake exposure.
  • •Evaluate reporting requests for data volume, complexity, latency, and audience, recommending the most efficient and maintainable architecture.
  • •Design and build Datasphere data models and views to expose SAP (S/4HANA and other sources) for SAC consumption and downstream reporting.
  • •Develop and maintain SAC stories, dashboards, and planning models, and define reusable CDS views for both native SAP reporting and Datasphere consumption.
  • •Coordinate with enterprise data/BI and security/basis stakeholders to govern data access, PII handling, performance monitoring, and accurate SAP data exposure to Snowflake.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of SAP reporting/analytics experience spanning classic reporting (ABAP, CDS, Fiori) and modern cloud analytics (BTP, Datasphere, SAC).
  • •Hands-on experience building CDS views (analytic and consumption) and exposing them via OData for reporting.
  • •Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, including story building and live/import connections (and ideally planning models).
  • •Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere, including data modeling and managing connections to SAP and non-SAP sources.
  • •Experience exposing SAP data to external platforms such as Snowflake for downstream reporting in Power BI and/or Tableau.
