Job Summary

Functional radar systems engineer responsible for defining and validating functional radar chain requirements, specifying functional solutions, and co-engineering with algorithm and software teams to implement new radar treatments and deployments. You will participate in integration, validation, and demonstration of radar performance across simulations, ground tests, and flight tests, leveraging MBSE and high-level modeling.

Key Responsibilities

•Understand and analyze operational needs
•Specify functional solutions: command chains, signal and information processing chains
•Design and specify radar treatments
•Co-engineer with algorithm teams to implement new treatments and deploy on radar
•Co-engineer with software teams to support development and integration, validation, and demonstration of performance across simulations and tests

Key Requirements

•Engineering degree (Bac+5) or equivalent with 5-10 years of experience in study and development of processing functions in embedded equipment, with strong knowledge in signal processing or data processing
•Experience in defense or aerospace domains with radar, sonar, optronic or imaging functions is desirable
•Knowledge of Systems Engineering methodology and associated tools (requirements/tests management, systems modeling, high-level simulation & modeling using Matlab/Simulink, Python) and configuration management (Git)
•Software competency is a plus and ability to work in a team with good interpersonal skills and autonomy
•MBSE modeling and simulation practices to drive mission success and maturity of teams
