Key Responsibilities

  • •Represent the executive leadership on site in Algiers and develop a high-performance culture while locally resolving day-to-day issues.
  • •Track hub health and productivity using direct observation, KPI follow-up, and regular exchanges with European managers and local teams.
  • •Monitor employee morale and workload, proactively escalate risks, friction, or performance drops to European managers.
  • •Oversee local operations, including managing the Office Manager and ensuring office upkeep, vendors, logistics, and operational needs.
  • •Supervise local HR administration and payroll to ensure full compliance with Algerian labor law, and lead local recruitment, career development, upskilling, and retention in collaboration with European managers.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong on-the-ground leadership and the ability to handle day-to-day situations with autonomy.
  • •Ability to work with depth and curiosity—understand issues thoroughly while maintaining a strategic view.
  • •Fluent French and English, comfortable in an international environment with teams based in Europe.
  • •Experience coordinating across local and European stakeholders to align performance and execution.
  • •Comfort ensuring local rules and standards are respected on site (e.g., safety and attendance rules).
