Job Summary

Build and maintain reliable, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and transformation workflows that power analytics and product features. Collaborate with data analysts, product managers, and engineers to deliver high-quality, monitored data while improving performance and ensuring security and compliance. Drive continuous improvement through benchmarking and PoCs, and contribute CI/CD practices for data workflows using AWS, dbt, Airflow (MWAA), and GitLab CI.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure efficient, reliable data flow for analytics and insights.
•Design and implement data models and transformations to support reporting and downstream analytics.
•Collaborate with data analysts, product managers, and engineers to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
•Implement data quality checks, validation frameworks, and monitoring to maintain accuracy and reliability.
•Identify and address performance issues in pipelines and data storage; propose and implement optimizations while adhering to security and compliance standards.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of experience in data engineering or backend development, building production-grade data pipelines.
•2-3+ years working with AWS services (Redshift administration is a must).
•Hands-on experience with AWS services including Spectrum, S3, RDS, Glue, Lambda, Kinesis, and SQS.
•Proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation and automation.
•Experience with dbt for data modeling and transformation, plus CI/CD for data workflows (preferably GitLab CI).
