Key Responsibilities

•Create an advanced testing strategy and comprehensive test plan covering functional, system, scalability, performance, longevity, and churn for distributed-scale topologies.
•Manage the QE lifecycle: test plan creation, test execution, automation, CI/CD integration, defect identification/reporting, and feature release under tight deadlines.
•Design, develop, and maintain scalable, robust Python tests using Pytest for distributed systems in private cloud environments.
•Drive software quality through follow-up with developers to move defects to resolved states and support code review/automation best practices.
•Coordinate across teams (development, product management, SRE, systems engineering) to ensure features are tested for functionality, scale, system, and performance; mentor junior engineers and document processes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 121,900 - 195,000 annually

Key Requirements

•6+ years of strong background in networking, security, or cloud-based technologies.
•6+ years of programming skills in Python, YAML, Bash, and object-oriented programming.
•4+ years of virtualization experience in installation, configuration, and administration (vSphere).
•Extensive practical experience with firewall/security services and networking TCP/IP stack (L2/L3, WAN).
•Working knowledge of REST APIs; plus familiarity with traffic simulator tools (Ixia Cyperf, TRex, Iperf) and networking debugging (tcpdump, Wireshark, traceroute, netstat) is preferred.
