Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and investigate associate relations incidents and concerns, working to resolve issues in an optimally, fairly, and equitably way.
  • •Partner with internal resources to gather data and legal opinions, analyze options, and develop investigative summaries to minimize organizational risk.
  • •Conduct follow-up interviews to ensure risks are minimized and advise associates, managers, and HR on a range of associate relations issues.
  • •Provide associate relations training and education and build and deliver communications on policy and procedure changes.
  • •Stay current on legislation, perform compliance audits of HR policies and practices, and provide recommendations to limit company exposure and risk.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of related experience in human resources, legal, or business operations, including 6+ years of employee relations or employment law experience.
  • •Knowledge of employee relations and HR management practices and procedures.
  • •Knowledge of state/federal employment laws and regulations and internal HR policies and procedures.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with associates at all levels, including top management and external contacts.
  • •Progress toward related HR certifications such as PHR or SPHR (preferred).
