Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead mechanical design packages on key client projects, supporting the technical delivery of HVAC and building services systems and contributing to high-quality engineering outcomes
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality across calculations, specifications and detailed design documentation
  • •Work closely with senior engineers and project leaders to deliver coordinated mechanical design solutions across complex building projects
  • •Provide guidance and mentorship to graduate and junior engineers, supporting their technical development
  • •Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and clients, contributing to successful project outcomes and repeat business

Key Requirements

  • •Chartered Engineer with professional engineer registration (or working towards chartership) or equivalent professional body
  • •Ideally 6–10+ years experience in a Building Services consultancy or significant mechanical design experience within Mechanical Contracting
  • •Proven track record in mechanical engineering design and project delivery across building services projects
  • •Strong understanding of Building Services systems and Australian Standards, with ability to contribute technically to clients and multidisciplinary teams
  • •Experience delivering multiple projects concurrently with design experience across sectors
