Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform cybersecurity activities for a large program, coordinating with government program staff and agencies to set and audit security policy, standards, and procedures.
  • •Support authorization and continuous monitoring activities, including ATO/ATC/IATT documentation and creation/tracking/review/closure of POA&Ms and risk acceptances.
  • •Conduct security test and evaluation planning and support security impact analysis, risk mitigation, and risk acceptance for RMF authorization decisions.
  • •Execute vulnerability management and auditing using STIGs, DISA SCAP, ACAS, and ESS Policy Auditor across systems including Linux, Windows, Cisco, Juniper, and VMware.
  • •Evaluate change requests (firewalls, systems, networks), enforce security design management controls for servers/services/endpoints, and provide guidance to less-experienced technical staff.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS (or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience).
  • •5+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years of ISSO experience.
  • •Working knowledge of DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DOW 8750 requirements.
  • •Must have an active/current Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance.
  • •Ability to work on-site at Fort Belvoir, VA, 5 days a week in a team-oriented environment.
