Key Responsibilities

  • •Fine-tune state-of-the-art LLMs for diverse use cases and optimize for high-performance deployment on Airbnb’s ML infrastructure.
  • •Partner with product managers, software engineers, data scientists and operations to brainstorm, design and develop AI products (e.g., AI Assistant, Autonomous agents, recommendations, travel planning).
  • •Prototype, develop and productionize LLM models and pipelines at scale (batch and real-time).
  • •Evaluate recent and upcoming foundation models to select and refine high-quality models for performance and efficiency.
  • •Drive key AI architectural decisions for products and contribute to Airbnb’s ML platform architecture and strategy.

  • •PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field
  • •10+ years of experience developing machine learning models and products at scale
  • •Programming experience in Python with PyTorch
