Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely while meeting production and quality goals.
  • •Oversee assigned team day-to-day, identify strengths/weaknesses, and drive improvement actions.
  • •Engage and coach team members with performance management, feedback, and clear communication of expectations and goals.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects, and partner with the Inspection Center General Manager to repair or reject inventory based on repair cost and overall quality.
  • •Train production associates using Quality Control standards to complete repairs effectively the first time and minimize re-checks and delays in production.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Experience using computers.
  • •Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process, including understanding current reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs and no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years).
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work on feet for extended periods in a fast-paced environment with safety equipment; must be able to work overtime and weekends.
