Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and evolve the Agentic AI Platform for multi-agent orchestration and RAG, integrating with existing Visa microservices.
  • •Develop scalable backend systems in Java (Spring Boot) and Python (FastAPI/Flask), including RESTful and gRPC APIs linking backend services, AI agents, and React front-end apps.
  • •Integrate and optimize LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Mistral, Gemini) and build RAG pipelines using vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, and FAISS.
  • •Lead distributed, fault-tolerant system design and implementation, including auto-scaling and observability with Kubernetes, Docker, and Prometheus/Grafana.
  • •Collaborate with engineers and product leads to deliver the platform roadmap, mentor developers, set coding standards, and lead design reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 2+ years with an advanced degree; or 0 years with a PhD; OR 8+ years relevant work experience.
  • •6+ years backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • •Production-level experience building and deploying AI agentic solutions integrating LLM-based agents with enterprise microservices.
  • •Hands-on implementation of LLM/GenAI/RAG systems using LangChain, LangGraph, or Autogen.
  • •Experience designing and scaling distributed microservice architectures and REST/gRPC APIs; plus debugging and troubleshooting at scale.
