Perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, upgrades, and installations in a semiconductor fab. Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve tool issues efficiently and improve system performance to meet process requirements and reduce repetitive downtime. Monitor and analyze tool-related data, coordinate supplier service when needed, and prepare technical reports with recommended solutions to equipment and process problems.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, equipment upgrades, and equipment installation.
•Improve system performance to meet process requirements and eliminate repetitive downtime.
•Monitor and analyze related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address tool issues.
•Coordinate supplier service and repairs when needed.
•Prepare technical reports and summarize findings with recommended solutions; communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/GED.
•Be 18 years of age or older.
•Have 2 years of semiconductor technician experience OR 8 years of non-semiconductor/military technician experience.
•Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule.
•Preferred: semiconductor experience in CMP, strong troubleshooting of electrical/mechanical systems, and strong communication skills.
