Job Summary

Verify and process incoming invoices and payments under close supervision. Monitor mortgage and consumer billing inboxes, approve fee requests that meet investor/bank limits, and review charge-off reports for appropriate processing. Handle checks and wires through the Default Lockbox, maintain default unapplied buckets, and create/distribute required reports while following investor, departmental, and legal guidelines and maintaining confidentiality.

•Verify incoming invoices from multiple vendors to ensure billed items were accurately assessed.
•Process invoices for payment approval or denial and obtain approval for fee requests above allowable limits.
•Process incoming checks and wires through the Default Lockbox.
•Post funds to Default accounts as needed and monitor default unapplied buckets.
•Review charge-off reports and process charge-offs if appropriate; create and maintain/distribute required reports.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Minimum two years general office, accounts receivable/payable, or equivalent education/experience.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•Strong attention to detail and solid mathematical skills.
•Good knowledge of PC’s and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and internet functions; systems experience with New Invoice or Vendorscape is a plus.
