Job Summary

Manage end-to-end closing of secondary loan trades for private credit, ensuring trades are captured, documented, and progressed through each closing phase within tight timelines. Execute ClearPar (or offline) processes, create and collect closing documents and counterparty deliverables, and keep systems aligned across ClearPar, Sentry, and Loan IQ. Prioritize aged/escalated trades and coordinate with Sales, Trading, counterparties, Legal, and agents to support restructures and settlement.

Key Responsibilities

•Capture loan trades from recap emails into ClearPar (or initiate manual documentation) and record trades onto the master tracker by T+1.
•Execute the ClearPar (or offline) process, including creation and collection of closing documents and counterparty deliverables.
•Update primary lifecycle amendments in ClearPar and instruct changes to Sentry/Loan IQ in line with procedures to reflect risk and profit and loss.
•Keep ClearPar, Sentry, and Loan IQ aligned throughout the closing process and ensure instructions are communicated to relevant parties.
•Liaise with Sales, Trading, Counterparties, Legal, and Agents; manage a portfolio of pre-settlement traded loans including distressed and claims through trade and servicing lifecycles.

Key Requirements

•Proven knowledge of a loan middle office or operations role, ideally in a documentation-related function, with previous closing experience helpful.
•For Distressed/Claims closing, previous knowledge of PAR closing is essential.
•Strong communication skills to work with internal and external clients, including front office trading staff and Legal & Compliance.
•Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet transaction deadlines.
•Knowledge of Loan IQ, Sentry, or ClearPar, plus good Excel and analytical skills.
