Key Responsibilities

  • •Rapidly respond to equipment failures and restore transmission services across satellite, fiber, IP-based, and bonded cellular paths.
  • •Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot video-over-IP transmission workflows, including IP addressing, ports, encoding/decoding, and transport.
  • •Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot bonded cellular transmission systems and fixed/critical transmission paths.
  • •Serve as the primary technical contact for resolving live feed issues by coordinating with field, remote, studio, production, and control room personnel.
  • •Communicate and escalate technical/operational issues to management and engineering teams with accurate troubleshooting, impact, and resolution details.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in a broadcast network distribution, satellite operations, or network engineering role.
  • •Fluent English and Spanish (both written & verbal).
  • •Experience operating Evertz video router panels and adjusting UDX settings for incoming signal changes.
  • •Experience calibrating and utilizing a spectrum analyzer to define satellite signals and verify quality/anomalies.
  • •Ability to operate GUI for satellite decoders/encoders and understand fiber network, video over IP infrastructure, and bonded cell workflows.
