Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor, fault-find, and repair control systems and automation equipment to ensure high equipment availability.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on assigned automation/robotics and control panels.
  • •Troubleshoot out-of-service equipment, act as an escalation point, and escalate to leadership or vendors as needed.
  • •Document all work in the CMMS and ticketing systems, and lead root cause analysis for major downtime events.
  • •Mentor maintenance personnel, support commissioning of new controls systems, audit vendor work, and standardize planned maintenance via PM updates.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified or solid practical understanding in mechatronics, electrical/electronic, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering.
  • •Experience in automation, mechanical, or maintenance engineering in a manufacturing/production environment (e.g., FMCG).
  • •Proficiency with PLC-controlled systems and automated processes, including PLC/HMI/VFD programming, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
  • •Ability to interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and schematics for diagnostics and solutions.
  • •Comfort handling second-line escalations and completing CMMS tasks, with experience in root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
