Key Responsibilities

  • •In NPI projects, work with design and manufacturing teams to develop, test, and establish manufacturing of products in global factories.
  • •Define process and equipment specifications and prove out production processes at factory locations; develop process maps, PFMEA, and fixture/tooling concepts.
  • •Create equipment specifications for new sensor designs and collaborate to build and implement production equipment.
  • •Use Six Sigma/lean and process control tools (FMEA, PMAP, Cpk) to define problems, analyze data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • •Lead equipment qualification (gauge RR, MSA, process qualification), production process documentation, and ensure yield and PPM requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 6–9 years of manufacturing or process development experience, including at least 2 years in a factory.
  • •Experience with high-volume manufacturing and new product introduction (NPI).
  • •Proficiency with Pro-Engineer or other CAD software.
  • •Knowledge of plastic molding, metal forming, and joining processes (welding, soldering, potting, encapsulation) and preference for process fixture design.
  • •Knowledge of lean production systems, control plans, process validation, process costing, and problem-solving tools (RCA, A3, DOE, 8D).
