Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with plant leadership and plant safety professionals to develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and promote a safety over production culture.
  • •Communicate safety requirements and influence employees to work safely during shift briefings and scheduled meetings.
  • •Identify, coordinate, and maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety standards, including implementing safety and health management programs.
  • •Coordinate regulatory interpretation, internal/external reporting, and overall safety and health compliance with facility and corporate safety.
  • •Conduct safety audits/inspections/risk assessments and participate in incident investigations with root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •3–5 years full-time safety experience in an industrial environment with progressive safety exposure.
  • •Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (COSS), Certified Occupational Safety Manager (COSM), Occupational Health & Safety Technologist (OHST) or equivalent.
  • •Must have a valid state driver’s license.
  • •Ability to work with minimum direct supervision.
