Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement Azure landing zones/subscriptions with RBAC, Entra ID integration, MFA, and compliant tagging/naming guardrails.
  • •Build and secure virtual networks (subnets, route tables, NSGs) and private connectivity (Private Endpoints/Private Link) to prevent public exposure.
  • •Provision and manage ACA, App Services, Functions, VMs, App Config, Key Vault, and SQL Server; define on-prem to Azure transition patterns.
  • •Enable Java application delivery by partnering with Java teams on containerization, JVM tuning, CI/CD standards, and rollout strategies (blue/green, canary).
  • •Ensure reliability and compliance by implementing SLOs/SLIs, monitoring/alerting (Azure Monitor/Log Analytics), incident response, resilience patterns, and infrastructure automation with Terraform/Bicep/GitOps.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in cloud infrastructure or SRE with Azure, including networking, compute, storage, identity, and security.
  • •Hands-on with ACA (Azure Container Apps), App Services, Functions, Private Endpoints/Private Link, Key Vault, App Config, and SQL Server.
  • •Strong Java ecosystem familiarity: JVM tuning and Spring Boot microservices, plus containerization and deployment to ACA/App Services; serverless batch patterns via Functions time triggers.
