Job Summary

Build and operate reliable, scalable cloud infrastructure for Adobe’s Developer Platforms team. You’ll drive Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, standardize Kubernetes-based deployments, and define SLIs/SLOs and observability standards. Own incident response and blameless postmortems, improve asynchronous job scheduling on Kubernetes and Postgres, and design self-service platforms that increase developer productivity. Collaborate on AI-enabled automation to reduce operational toil.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and enforce platform engineering guidelines and standards.
•Define and continuously improve SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets, and establish platform-wide observability standards.
•Standardize and optimize Kubernetes-based deployments, scheduling, and resource management for performance and cost efficiency.
•Lead incident response and run blameless postmortems to prevent recurrence; maintain resilient, secure platform operations.
•Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and improve the reliability and performance of asynchronous job scheduling systems on Kubernetes and Postgres.

Key Requirements

•8–10 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, or Backend Development with strong operational/production focus.
•Deep expertise running Kubernetes in production, including scaling, performance tuning, and workload optimization.
•Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and operating cloud-native systems on AWS.
•Strong programming skills in Golang and/or Python, plus knowledge of Linux systems, networking, REST APIs, and distributed systems design.
•Experience with observability and reliability practices, including defining SLIs/SLOs, operating incident response, and using tools such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Jaeger.
