Key Responsibilities

•Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
•Transport loads safely and on-time while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
•Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
•Assist with loading/unloading using specialized equipment; arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns.
•Maintain signed invoices and bills of lading and deliver required documentation when routes are complete; facilitate routine truck service and report maintenance issues.

Key Requirements

•Must hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight operated.

•Must pass DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10k lbs.
•Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
•Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with customers and staff at delivery points.
