Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

•Lead concept development, detailed design, and documentation of opto-mechanical assemblies using Creo (Pro/E).
•Design precision structures, mounts, housings, and mechanisms for imaging sensors and optical assemblies.
•Perform tolerance analysis and apply GD&T (ANSI Y14.5) to ensure manufacturability and performance.
•Support structural and thermal analyses, including FEA, to validate designs.
•Participate in hardware integration, verification, environmental test activities, and support transition to production with supplier collaboration and corrective actions.

Key Requirements

•Master's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) obtained prior to start.
•Experience with 3D CAD tools (Creo preferred), including modeling and drawing creation, for precision mechanical hardware.
•Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) per ANSI Y14.5.
•Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start.
•U.S. citizenship required to be eligible for a security clearance.
