Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and resolve end-to-end employee exits for Remote’s external employees across international jurisdictions, ensuring a superior offboarding experience.
  • •Provide guidance on HR matters including termination, resignation, transfer procedures, employment contracts, and redundancy processes with legal compliance.
  • •Lead and facilitate client and employee meetings for workforce reductions, administrative hearings, and negotiations in separations and settlements.
  • •Draft and administer termination and supplementary documents while maintaining privacy/confidentiality and accurate employee records.
  • •Process offboarding in Remote’s internal HRIS platform and coordinate internal stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Payroll, Benefits) to administer exits correctly and promptly.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with generalist HR competencies across the employee lifecycle.
  • •Proven experience managing voluntary and involuntary exits (terminations) with sensitivity and legal compliance across jurisdictions.
  • •Ability to interpret and apply employment/industrial instruments, research complex HR issues, and communicate practical recommendations in ambiguous situations.
  • •Working knowledge of employee relations principles, progressive discipline, and workplace investigations.
