Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and own Coinflow’s design system on top of shadcn/ui and Tailwind, including components, tokens, patterns, and documentation.
  • •Design and ship full front-end features end-to-end, from wireframes or high-fidelity to production components wired to real data and iteration.
  • •Redesign and modernize existing payment surfaces such as merchant onboarding, dashboards, and checkout flows.
  • •Set visual direction for a fintech payments platform that feels trustworthy, fast, and precise.
  • •Make architecture decisions for component composition, theming, and reusability while collaborating with backend engineers to represent complex systems accurately.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong command of shadcn/ui, Radix primitives, Tailwind CSS, and React/TypeScript, including explaining why shadcn’s composition model works.
  • •A portfolio or GitHub history showing products you designed and built start to finish, not just Dribbble shots or isolated components.
  • •Demonstrated product design judgment for typography, spacing, color systems, information hierarchy, and simplifying data-heavy interfaces.
  • •Comfort owning ambiguity and deciding the right interaction pattern without relying on someone else’s spec.
  • •Experience building or significantly extending a design system in a production codebase, including versioning, theming, and documentation practices.
